As you know,  the AV Guide Dog Puppy Raisers host an annual training day including lunch.  This day provides the raisers with an opportunity to socialize their pups to perhaps some different types of situations they may not normally encounter, like horses, tractors, open metal stairs, etc...It is also a nice time to visit with and get to know other puppy raisers.  This is a casual event, but a worthwhile one to attend.
